Peer Review Process

All articles undergo prior evaluation by the Editorial Board, where they are assessed for compliance with the formal submission criteria and the Journal's editorial policy. After this stage, the article is sent to two reviewers who are members of the Journal's Editorial and Scientific Boards for evaluation, according to the process known as  double blind review , so that they can issue a reasoned opinion on the acceptance or rejection of the article, according to the Journal's own form. The average time for this evaluation is 20 days.

Once received, the opinions are forwarded to the authors of the article for their information and, if necessary, for them to incorporate the suggested modifications.

Throughout the entire article evaluation process, there is no identification of the authors, and they are also not aware of the identity of the evaluators. Articles by invited authors and translations of articles published in foreign journals are not subject to the evaluation procedure.
